Very nice room and facilities. Restaurant was excellent but with a price tag to suit. Restaurant service very good but was a little slow in the bar area after dinner. Tried to charge me more than lateroom booked rate for one of the rooms on departure but this was quickly rectified. However it was fortunate that I checked bill before paying.

The 7 course dinner and the wine recommendations were great, also the service when we arrived late in the evening.
The breakfast buffet was not very well stocked.

Large wine cellar, luxurious accommodations, relaxing ambiance in public spaces
Inconsistent room conditions could really use some attention!!! The lack of attention to special occasions and the tired decor in some rooms were disappointments that detracted from that luxury experience I expected.

I stayed during a business trip having got a £99 rate from Booked.net (versus the usual £309 rack rate). The hotel isn't really a business hotel - WiFi is extra and cellphone reception on at least O2 and Orange vitually non-existent. Breakfast is £15 extra (or £20 if you want a hot dish). Dinner is not within a low business budget - however ... Its a great hotel! The spa is especially relaxing (though the pool is not designed for laps - being circular). Food is fantastic. Rooms are very large and comfortable.

Didn't spend much time there but the staff were very courteous & helpful
Our room was in the "attic" & hence was pokey. Was this due to us booking (at a discount) via the internet?

We were only there for one night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were attentive but not obtrusive and our suit was large and comfortable. We had dinner in the hotel which was expensive but the food was delicious and the wine was excellent.

Amazing spa and dinner experience!
Spent a night here and it was awesome! The spa was small but super chill, and the dinner in the tasting room was just very nice. The flavors were next level! Only thing was the outdoor area could be noisy. Everything else was fantastic, especially the service and room vibes.

The hotel is stylish; the standard is well up to relais et chateaux; the staff were very well trained and the spa was very good. The food in the dining room and the ambience were excellent.
It is expensive, particulary the wine. They had an excellent list of wines under £ 30 and I was very happy with the bottle I chose. But thereafter the wines shot up so that there was not much between £ 30 and £ 80 or much more. £ 30 was not a limit for me but I am too mean to pay £ 80 when I might pay £ 45 or £ 50.The 20% off Californian wine sounded attractive before you learnt the extortionate gross price!

The food was really good, especially the seven-course tasting menu paired with informative wine selections. Having our pets with us made it even more special as we enjoyed the beautiful dining atmosphere together. Definitely a highlight!
In my wife's opinion, more family-friendly activities would be great.
